Headteacher's Welcome
As Headteacher of St Paul’s CE Primary School, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school.
As a Church school, our Christian ethos is an integral part of the life of the school, and we encourage the children, staff and volunteers, to follow this ethos in all that they do.
Our Vision and Values underpin all of our work, and these can be seen displayed around school, and are part of our Worship, Circle Time and everyday life. We have close links with the Church, which we hope will grow ever stronger with the appointment of a new Vicar to the Parish.
We believe our school is a very special place, where children flourish in a happy, safe and supportive environment, with the guidance of a dedicated team of staff. Children are encouraged to love learning, work hard and accept new challenges. The curriculum is designed to ensure all our children have access to a broad range of learning opportunities with a strong focus on the development of English and Maths skills, as we know these are essential. We aim to supplement classroom learning with a range of outdoor learning opportunities in our fabulous school grounds, visits and visitors, and our two residentials in Yr4 and Yr6.
We also offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities, all of which are free to join and give opportunities in music, art and sport for different year groups.
Central to all of this are our curriculum values.
Curiosity ~ Aspiration ~ Resilience ~ Excellence
As we help every child to be the best that they can be.
We are committed to working in partnership with parents, carers and the local community, and are constantly striving to grow and develop as a school.
We hope that you enjoy looking at the website, our Twitter Feed and Facebook page, and that you find the information you are looking for.
Please visit the class pages so that you can find out more about what your child is doing, and important information that you may need.
As Headteacher, I am always available to talk to, and you are always warmly welcomed into school. We look forward to working with you as parents, to ensure the very best for your child.
